Most of the palms we grow need little or no supplemental irrigation. Can adapt to most soil types.  Do well in either partial shade or full sun.  Require light periodic fertilization.  Most grow at a moderate growth rate, between one to three foot per year. All plants must be watered in for 30 days after planting in order for them to acclimate to their new surroundings.

If purchasing plants seems overwhelming try renting some plants for all of your festivities before you buy.
